The Beacon Hill International Symposia invites us all to take a step back and ponder some basic questions: As citizens of a new global world, and of the United States, Who are we? Where are we going? What is our place in this world? Internationally renowned speakers will guide participants through lively conversations, which will investigate the roles of the United States, past, present, and future, in the international theater. Once this lens is fully developed, participants will examine the domestic priorities, and international opportunities, reflected by the newly focused U.S. perspective. Seminars to follow will bring this in-depth analysis to case studies of the United States' role in the war on terror, energy and the environment, national security issues and the threat posed by Iran. |
